Southern Blaze phlox varieties are some of the very best Proven Winners annuals in our Florida trials every year, thriving in both landscapes and containers. They are pollinator magnets. This series was formerly named Intensia®.

Will do best in well-drained soil.

Rabbits may find Phlox very tasty.

An application of fertilizer or compost on garden beds and regular fertilization of plants in pots will help ensure the best possible performance.

    • Picked up one of these in mid May. Looked a bit worn but once I got it home and in a large pot this plant has performed well. Loads of vibrant red flowers and a sturdy build. Like most PW plants this needs minimal care; just water and fertilizer do the trick. Highly recommend.
